With ORIS Press Matcher // Web completely different systems can colormetrically be aligned to one common repeatable standard, whether this being an international standard like ISO coated V2 or SWOP, or a specific custom standard. The latest version of the world's leading award-winning color management solution for digital and analog printing systems has been completely redesigned and once more optimised for the specific requirements of all forms of digital printing.

The necessary colour profiles, created purely by measurement using an iterative process, deliver highly accurate repeatable results. A software wizard guides the user through the process, which requires no specific knowledge. Particularly in digital production printing, colour profiles have to be updated several times a day in some cases, using ORIS Press Matcher // Web this procedure takes only a few minutes. The results are standardised colour across multiple platforms – bringing high-quality, consistent colour to all of your print projects, regardless of how or where they are being printed!

Similar to the leading proofing application ORIS Color Tuner // Web, a powerful softproofing application has been included in the software. That way, print jobs can quickly and easily, together with the browser-based architecture, be uploaded, controlled and tracked from anywhere in the world. Just prior to production, the job can initially be evaluated, based on a colour-accurate softproof, and then be released directly within the application, making it easy to implement remote-printing concepts. Using the optional certification tool, the print job can be checked for standard conformity immediately after printing.

Colour Consistency

ORIS Press Matcher // Web is ideal for maintaining color consistency among multiple digital presses, or between your conventional and digital presses. It can also be used to color manage wide format output, so that signage or point-of-sale materials exactly match a standard, so that a brand identity is kept throughout a marketing campaign.
Unrivalled worldwide is the optionally available ORIS Color Stabilizer. This function developed by CGS specifically optimizes the black generation, achieving an optimum stable gray balance, which has not been considered possible until now on digital printing systems. At the same time, the ink/toner usage is significantly lowered.

ORIS Press Matcher // can seamlessly be integrated in any existing production environment, using the various automation tools available. As an option, the system will generate devicelink profiles, which in turn can be used in high-volume systems for variable data printing.

Hot Folders

ORIS Press Matcher Pro uses hot folders to automatically transport and process digital files from any Windows or Mac OS computer on the network. Each hot folder can be configured to handle the color requirements of a particular RIP or output device. Automatic FTP, email notifications and many other workflow features are standard. Ink or toner optimisation is available as an option, via ORIS Ink Saver, and ORIS Normaliser for automatic file format conversion.
